Sita: Tigress of Ranthambore
$16.99

Sita must help save her jungle-but she can't do it alone.

Deep in India's Ranthambore forest, young Sita the tiger longs to prove she's more than Queen Sharmila's cub-she's the descendant of Dawon the Fierce, the legendary tiger ridden into battle by the goddess Parvati herself.

But the jungle is dying. Trees fall. Rivers fade. Food grows scarce. And in the shadows, poachers close in. Divided by fear and pride, the tiger tribes turn against one another. When her mother vanishes in search of answers, Sita must summon a courage worthy of her lineage to unite the jungle before it's too late.

Joined by a fainting peacock, a sharp-tongued snake, a chatterbox monkey, and a daring village boy, Sita embarks on a journey where every step tests her heart and every roar shakes the fate of the wild. Guided by Parvati's spirit, she will learn that true strength isn't born from power alone-but from the bonds that tie every living thing to the jungle's beating heart.

Cutting a Path: The Power of Purpose, Discipline, and Determination
$22.95

Becoming a doctor is hard. Becoming a surgeon, even harder. Becoming a neurosurgeon as an Indian woman who wants to have a healthy work-home life balance and kids? Almost impossible.

But not for Dr. Sheri Dewan.

Always interested in science growing up, it wasn’t until neurosurgery saved her mother’s life from a ruptured brain aneurysm that Dr. Dewan started on the path toward becoming one of about two hundred female neurosurgeons in the United States. The trials, tribulations, and wrath of not only her unsupportive male colleagues, but some female as well, helped to shape Dr. Dewan into the confident neurosurgeon and woman she is today.

Cutting a Path: The Power of Purpose, Discipline, and Determination is the inspiring, eye-opening memoir of how Dr. Dewan overcame numerous personal and professional obstacles to reach her dream. Braided with advice that is applicable to anyone facing adversity achieving their career goals, her story will make you ask yourself, “When the world tests you, do you have what it takes to shut out the noise, check in with yourself, and follow your passion?”
